The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is Hiring an Admissions Assistant Near Haverhill, MA

We are hiring an Admissions Assistant to join our dynamic care team at The Oxford Rehab in Haverhill!

As an Admissions Assistant, you assist in the day-to-day functions of the Admission Department.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of high school diploma.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience working in a skilled nursing facility or assisted living facility preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates the ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate all admission activity with a focus on processing admission paperwork and computer-generated forms and reports.
  • Assists in the coordination of all admissions to facility in accordance with budgeted census projections.
  • Knows and complies with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures and is able to and educates residents and families in the same.
  • Is readily available and represents the facility to potential residents, families, hospitals and other referral sources in a positive and professional manner.
  • Assists in the coordination of all admission activities and documentation with all respective departments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Acts as a liaison between facility and all community groups and agencies.
  • Utilize appropriate sales/marketing techniques. (i.e., tours to prospective patients’ families, etc.).
  • Assure detailed completion of all admission, discharge and transfer records manually as well as computer-generated.
  • Coordinate and manage accurate admission files, records and policy books.
  • Assist in providing ongoing assistance to potential residents and their families in negotiating a successful placement.
